About Carlas Dance Factory

Carla's Dance Factory in Peachtree City, GeorgiaWelcome… Carla’s Dance Factory is convenient to both Fayetteville and Peachtree City. Our state-of-the-art facility has over 6800 square feet with three studio rooms, each with high ceilings and 4 ½” spring floors. Each floor has a specialized surface appropriate to the dance style: Hardwood floors for tap, Marley sub-flooring a non-slip surface for jazz, ballet and lyrical, and tile for beginner dancers. We also have a dressing room, homework area & lounge, parents waiting area with a TV and VCR, conference room and our costume/wardrobe room.

ANNUAL RECITALS/COSTUME FEES

All students in performing classes participate in the annual May recital. Students perform a routine in both tap and ballet. The costume fee is $83.00. Costumes are ordered for each student. A costume fee is due November 1st of each year. This fee includes the bodice, ballet tutu, tap skirt, all accessories, hats, gloves, shoe ribbons and two pair of tights.

Combination classes perform a routine in tap, ballet and jazz. All students are awarded a certificate, trophy, and program book at the end of the recital. The costume fee is $125.00. Usually a 2-N-1 costume is ordered with multiple accessories for two of the dances and one additional costume is ordered for the third costume. Usually, we are able to meet the costume needs with this fee. This fee is due November 1st of each year.

Hip Hop Classes perform in the recital as well. The costume fee is approximately $65.00. This fee is due November 1st of each year.

PARENT WATCH DAYS

Parent watch days are designated days where parents and grandparents can view their child’s progress during dance class. Watch days are usually the week before Thanksgiving and a designated week in March. Cameras and video cameras are allowed in the classroom on these special days.

WATCH YOUR CHILD ON CAMERA

Each studio has a video camera that allows parents to watch their child during class on our flatscreen television. Viewing weeks are alternated with slide shows to keep parents informed of upcoming events, special workshops and deadlines.
