Classes are available in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Clogging for beginning through advanced students. Students with experience are placed in the appropriate class. Performances are optional depending on class selection.
Company classes-Taught by Miss Carla. Dance classes for the serious adult dancer, students can join a performance company called the “Showstoppers” that competes at dance competitions with the CDF Performance companies. Students take weekly classes in Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre.
Other adult classes offered:
Liturgical Dancing-taught by Tammy Moore incorporating lyrical dance with Praise and Worship music. This group often performs at churches during Christmas and Easter celebrations. Previous experience not required. Just a heart that loves the Lord!
Beginner Tap and Jazz- Taught by Carla Gillespie Berry starts with the basics and combines technique with combinations across the floor and various patterns to keep the class energetic and fun. This weekly class does not perform in the recital and is perfect for those that want a new twist on exercise.
Hip Hop-taught by Tammy Moore and Marie Smith this class is great for flexibility and strengthening while moving to the latest tunes. All music has been checked for appropriate language before it is used in the studio.
Belly Dancing-taught by Rachel Wilson on Sunday evenings in 6 to 8 week series.
Morning and evening classes are available. (One hour class)
