Nanette comes to Carla’s Dance Factory as our Voice, Piano and Drama Coach with 17 years experience as a private instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education and a minor in Theatre from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida with major emphasis in Vocal Performance and secondary in Piano. She has been a professional musician and performer since the age of thirteen and has toured both nationally and internationally with various performance groups. Additionally, she is an adjudicator for National Fine Arts Competitions at local, state, regional and national levels. Nanette also spent two years as a music educator in the Marion County Public School System in Ocala, Florida.
Students under Nanette’s instruction have obtained roles in national television shows with both Disney and Universal Studios. This make her a tremendous asset to CDF and those students wanting to become a triple threat (Dancer, Actor, Singer) or those wanting to improve their skills for musical theatre performances.
Private teaching, coaching and performance in voice and piano are considered her greatest joys. She will also develop the drama program through workshops and classes. Nanette is very excited to be a part of Carla’s Dance Factory.
