Erica Keating

Erica began dancing at Carla’s Dance Factory at the age of five and is proud to say she was one of Carla’s first students. She is currently the assistant director of CDF. She has had the opportunity to compete both locally and nationally with Star Systems, Showstoppers, Hall of Fame, and KAR competitions where she won numerous awards for her performances and choreography.

Erica began assistant teaching at the age of fifteen and is the CDF performing company jazz teacher. She has studied in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center and at Steps. She also participates in summer dance conventions such as the Pulse with Tyce Diorio and Mia Michaels of “So You Think You Can Dance?”, Dupree Enterprises, Dance Olympus, Jump, Tremaine, and Universal Dance Association. Additionally, Erica is proud to have been a featured dancer during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Erica is also the technique teacher for the prestigious McIntosh High School dance team. The MHS Chiefettes have been ranked Nationally and first in State several years running.

Erica has been a tremendous asset to our program, bringing her positive attitude and energy into our studio. She is a student at Georgia State University in Atlanta where she studies Sociology.
