CLASS WEAR: Your dancers’ class wear is what your student will wear to class every week. They will need proper shoes for tap-tap shoes 2.5-5 black patent (shiny) or 6 and up need MaryJane buckle tap shoes and boys any tie tap shoe in black; ballet – a pink ballet shoe for girls and black ballet shoes for boys, jazz-jazz shoe can be tan or skin tone, and black jazz shoe for boys; and for Hip Hop-tennis shoes. Class wear for ballet includes a leotard of any color with or without skirt and tights (footed or convertible) for girls and black jazz pants and a white t-shirt for boys. For tap they will need the same as ballet, but some students chose to wear dance shorts instead of a skirt for the girls. For jazz they will need a leotard, with or without a skirt or shorts, and tights (footed or convertible) and boys can wear the same as ballet/tap. For Hip Hop they will need comfortable clothing they can dance in.
RECITAL COSTUMES: For your recital costumes your dancer will be measured in October, and payment is due by 10/31, they will be ordered in November during Thanksgiving break, and we will start receiving them anytime between December through March (depending on availability and shipping), we will have a fitting day as soon as we receive them, exchanges will be processed if needed, and costumes will be signed out in class with new tights (tan and pink) in time for picture week in March.
